Peacock Beach State Park.  A small state park on Pleasant Pond in Richmond, Maine.  Ideal for a family picnic.

Pineland Recreational Area.  The Pineland Public Reserved Land (administered by the Maine Bureau of Parks and Land) and the Pineland Farms Corporation have adjacent land areas dedicated to recreation.  This includes working farms, cross-country skiing, hiking, and other recreational activities.
